Dolores O'Riordan, or better known as the vocalist for Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries, release her first solo album entitled Are You Listening on May 15. It's been a long wait for her solo album since the last time we saw her leading The Cranberries to mainstream success. Although the band hasn't made any official announcement on the break-up, but the band has been on hiatus since 2003, and O'Riordan has been doing lots of 'special appearances'.

Enough of endless waits for her die-hard fans whose expecting her come-back since 2003, here is she with her new solo album, and has already seen her very first single, Ordinary Day on music video channels worldwide.
"Are You Listening is a throwback to 1980s-era Siouxsie and the Banshees and Sinead O'Connor--sweeping keyboards, forceful drumming, and muscular guitar work. It may seem like a melodramatic move, but the music never overwhelms the slight yet steely figure at the center of the maelstrom..." - Kathleen C. Fennessy
SGK verdict: O'Riordan's style hasn't changed a lot though. Her vocals barely changed at all, still using the same vocal styles. Neither did the music directions. I just got some feelings that i'm listening to a new album release by Cranberries. '
SGK ratings: 6.7/10 (based on her single Ordinary Day only)
