Sawdust by The Killers

Coming soon on November 13, The Killers will release a compilation album containing the band's b-sides, rarities and remixes materials. The forthcoming album's title is Sawdust.

It is about time for the synth rockers to release something new for the fans to listen to, since their last Sam's Town, which was released last year October.

Here's the new song Tranquilize featuring Lou Reed.

AA Bondy - American Hearts

New Yorker AA Bondy released a new album on September 18 entitled American Hearts.

Recorded and mixed in a month at The Red Barn in Palenville, NY in January 2007, American Hearts is dark and sardonic but it's not a claustrophobic, tortured not troubled as you'd expect. The record is actually quite beautifully stark and stripped-down and well played, filled with great melodies and warm production. The songs are wonderfully influenced by an amalgam of folk and blues, filtered through the mind of someone who knows what makes a great rock song breathe. (text from Insound)

If you're a huge fan of Damien Rice, José González, Dan Bern or Josh Ritter, perhaps you might want to listen to this.

Here's him playing Killed Myself When I Was Young, followed by American Hearts.
